Making time...

My desk looks absolutely horrific. I can’t believe I let it get this bad. I can’t move anything or it will fall off. I will clean and file but it never fails. It will return to this state within a few weeks.

This happens with everything. My bedroom closet, my bathroom countertop and especially my purse. They all suffer the same fate. Smoothed into every crease of existence a random receipt or ticket stub will end up. My favorite lip gloss lost in a pile for the next few weeks because the suit jacket I wore needs to be dry-cleaned and my dry-cleaning ends up in the corner.

Most organizers say to do a little bit every day. Devote 10 mins a day and tackle one thing at a time. I say, “Screw them!” I don’t have time to take the pile of books I have in the living room to the garage. --It’s been on the list for about 2 months.

So, in this season of “Change,” I am committing to me. 10 minutes a day I will deal with one problem area. In addition, I will devote 20 minutes to blogging.

I have had this page since September 2008, but have been hesitant to start. I knew that if I started, I would feel very guilty for stopping. So here it goes. Feel free to come along for the ride.
